Patrick McAvoy’s experiences include local and national sportswriting in baseball, football and basketball. Throughout his career, he has covered the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, New York Mets, Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Celtics.

Outside of journalism, Patrick also earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Brandeis University and studied communications and business administration at Merrimack College, where he received his bachelor’s degree.
